Demetra Bellina was born in Udine, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, Italy. Bellina first began acting on stage, during the high school. She had her TV debut with Di padre in figlia (2017), and others TV shows as Thou Shalt Not Kill (2015), La vita promessa (2018), Non mi lasciare. Her TV breakthrough arrived in 2021 with the series Tutta colpa di Freud (2021) by Paolo Genovese. She began first steps in movies with Comedians (2021) by Gabriele Salvatores and Headshot (2022), Greta e le favole vere (2022). In 2023 she is the protagonist of Non credo in Niente directed by Alessandro Marzullo, shot in Super 16 mm film and premiered at 59° Pesaro Film Festival. She is also and independent musician, singer, writer and painter.
